IFAK 101 / Intro to TECC Active Bystander

IFAK 101 is designed to provide the fundamentals of planning, designing, and utilizing the Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK).

The instruction is built around the TECC framework, which focuses on the equipment needed to manage life-saving emergencies utilizing the MARCH algorithm. Despite its origin, a well-developed IFAK applies to any situation, whether it’s on the beach, at the range, during camping, hiking, or in the event of a disaster. This course outlines the concepts of the IFAK and provides hands-on training to equip participants with the evidence-based knowledge necessary to save a life.  This course will also provide a certification in adult only CPR.

• Building on the M-A-R-C-H principle
• Hands-on skills training
• Scenario-based simulation
